And they’re off!
A selection of models from Models Direct took part in a lively shoot at Newbury Racecourse and soon found they were firm favourites with the clients.
The Karlsen family, together with models Gavin, AJ and Jasmine, were integral to the commercial assignment to promote the hosting of events at the venue.
Dressed in their best to take on the role of a wedding party, the whole group had a fabulous and fun day out at the location, enjoying the social interaction, as much as the modelling itself.
Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire is, of course, best known as one of the UK’s leading venues for flat and over jump horse racing.
It’s size and facilities, however, also make it ideal for music concerts, conferences, weddings and other events.
Our own tremendous team were off to a flying start and all proved themselves to be front runners in the day’s activities.
As usual, they gave us their feedback on their own personal experiences.
The Karsens said they found Models Direct to be a “friendly, professional and efficient agency.”
And AJ, who stepped into the role of best man for the shoot, added:
“Once again, I had the pleasure of working for Models Direct on my second assignment for a wedding shoot at the Newbury Racecourse, alongside a beautiful family. Ricky and the rest of the crew gave us a pleasant and warm welcome. He was able to help me transition into the best man role. It is always an absolute honour working for Models Direct and I am looking forward to many more projects!”
Gavin also found the assignment to be well planned in advance and smooth on the day:
“It was great fun today at my photo shoot for Newbury Racecourse arranged by Models Direct. Molly let me know of everything I needed to bring in advance and the shoot went really well,” he said. We were a wedding party to promote the course wedding events and we posed on the track, in the stands and in the function room. Great company from the other models, super client who knew exactly what they were looking for and made the whole shoot very relaxed. It was a really good day and I look forward to the next one!”
Jasmine also said the experience was “fantastic”.
“I spent the day with a lovely group of people and was guided by a few very respectful and supportive staff members. I also had lots of fun shooting on the racecourse where the photographer arranged a few fun exercises to get some great photos! Thank you, guys very much for the experience!”
