A lot of our models enjoy a party, so this assignment could well be the best job for many of you. Unfortunately, only two models from our talented pool of individuals were needed. Step up Tapuwa and Beth!
The venue for this most enjoyable of modelling jobs couldn’t have been more grand. From the costumes to the setting, this had all the party boxes ticked – and then some. Our social female duo headed to plush Avington Park in Hampshire to star in a film shot headed up by the lovely people at video company Nomadic. If you combine super-gifted models with a media firm at the top of its game it’s only ever going to be a success, but when you add a county’s top party and function destination into the mix, it’s a home-run of gargantuan proportions!
Avington Park boasts a proud history. The 16th century English country house is a Grade 1 listed building located near Winchester, and the self-styled “Hampshire’s Historic Party Palace”. With 150 acres of private parkland, Avington Park once served as the place to be for Kings and Royal Courtiers. Well, we did say it was plush!
Tapuwa and Beth were required to demonstrate their outdoor skills by engaging in archery and tucking into a delicious barbecue. The Park welcomes hundreds of groups to take part in team building events, and our models’ enthusiasm showed in the behind-the-scenes footage as shown on this Instagram reel. These are wonderful additions to any model’s ePortfolio, so for more information, view our daily-updated website…or simply click on the how-to-make-an-instagram-modelling-reel link.
After Tapuwa and Beth took off their wellies, it was time to glitz it up and don cocktail dresses to promote the Park’s glamorous wedding and party settings inside (they can cater for up to 200 guests and even have Rolls Royces and Bentleys so they can arrive in style). Cue champagne and birthday cake. Though we always salute our models, we admit to being a little green with envy. And you’d be, too!
“You guys were amazing!” beamed Tapuwa. “Thank you for making it super-fun. I would love to work with all of you again.”
We also swell with pride hearing valuable feedback from our client. Nomadic said they captured “many incredible shots”, and Avington Park General Manager Josie said our booking process was “very easy with great communication” and that her booking agent, Emma, was “efficient, quick and friendly!” Specific feedback on Beth and Tapuwa revealed them to be, “Very easy to work with, very flexible and nothing was too much of a problem. Made the photo shoot very easy and allowed us to get a lot more squeezed in to the timeframe.” And – of course, Avington Park would welcome more Models Direct models to their exquisite grounds should the need arise again.
Well done to all involved, and we look forward to placing more models with more notable clients!
