Meet Jason, he is one of our models and these images of him were taken behind the scenes on a photo shoot for Furniture Village.
As viewers, by the time we watch an advert or promotional film for a big name brand it usually looks seamless – after all the aim is to make it look as realistic as possible.
But our models know exactly how much work goes into each production and what goes on behind the scenes.
Behind each carefully crafted film or photography session, a whole team of people with different areas of expertise have come together and worked exceptionally hard.
As a reputable agency, with a long history in the business, we have an important role to play in the whole process.
Our job is not only to find the right models or extras for a commercial for the client but also to ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of those we send on the assignment.
We liaise and support them throughout the whole process, ensuring they are well informed about the booking and have a full understanding of what to expect on the day.
As a genuine modelling agency, we not only work with some of the biggest names on the high street and in business, but we are fully vetted, inspected and accredited.
Highly experienced members of the team work with the client – this might be the recognised name themselves or the production company they have employed.
We find out what they are looking for so we can offer them a selection of the right type of models and then we discuss the job itself.
Once they have selected one of our models – and our models have accepted the booking – we are there in the background to inform, advise and support them.
On set itself, the production team, possibly including a director, photographer or camera person, sound engineer, make-up artist, wardrobe and set designer, will all step into action.
They will all be experienced at their jobs too and will have worked with first-time as well as long-time models. They will also be there to help our models on the day.
Becoming a model can be an exciting process. Just remember how important it is to sign up with a modelling agency that has real, recognised clients and is there to work for you too.
Read more about what the models themselves say, look at the pictures, follow their progress on social media and have a true understanding of what goes on behind the scenes.
Modelling can be hard work but for experienced models like Jason, working with a team like ours and those on set for Furniture Village, it can also be very rewarding.
