Whether you’re a hair model, looking to become one or simply wanting to keep up with the latest hair trends, we have a collection of great hairstyles you can check out and maybe follow if they tickle your fancy!
Now, the BRITS have always excited us. Music is one of the many things we love and with the recent awards being held last week, all eyes were on who won what and of course, who wore what! All eyes were on the red carpet action ahead of the show. It was bursting with fashion and rocking a lot of cool, new hairstyles which we will tell you all about here. Hair models, this blog is for you!
1. Charli XCX; bold and powerful
Charli XCX is a superstar with catchy hits like, “Boom Clap” from the soundtrack album of “The Fault in Our Stars” (2014) and, “Doing It,” with Rita Ora. We’re pretty sure you know that. But alongside her great vocals, she also rocks fantastic looks. This year, she went for a Gothic Glam look which suited her so well! Charlie XCX’s dark hair was cut in the classic bob style and parted at the side. Her hair was tucked behind her ears and she was ready to go!
Top tip: If you want to recreate Charli XCX’s uncomplicated but bold look, it is pretty simple. Part your hair to the side and blow-dry it to create the smooth look. Once done, lock it in place with hairspray and tuck behind your ears. Done! A great style for teen models through to catalogue models.
2. Billie Eilish; bright and dreamy
Billie got a mention in our “Top 3 Spring/Summer 2020 Fashion Trends: Fashion Models Must-Have” blog but with her varied, daring and on-trend hairstyles, she has to have a name check in this one too!
Her new Bond theme “No Time To Die” has left us all in awe of this teenage sensation by recently becoming the first female artist to top the UK charts in at number one with a 007 track! 2020 is her year for sure.
So, at the BRIT Awards, we were keen to see that she was still sporting her neon green roots as she was at the 2020 Grammy Awards. With a centre parting and her black, bold wavy ends flowing like a dream, her hairstyle definitely made it to the top of the pack. We’re certain teenage models will love this look.
3. Anne-Marie; pretty in pink
The “Rockabye” star looked so cute at the BRIT Awards 2020 and her candy floss, sweet hairstyle made our heads turn. Anne-Marie’s shade of pink reminded us of shimmery flowers blossoming in spring. Her short, wet look style was gorgeous and showed us that whilst colours can be bold and daring, like Charli XCX’s and Billie’s, they can also be softened too. Anne-Marie’s style didn’t seem hard to recreate as the front was swept to the side and held with spray and gel, not to forget her princess-like hair accessory to top it off.
4. Michelle Keegan; ponytails are back!
“Our Girl” star, Michelle Keegan, attended the BRIT Awards too and we were really excited to see how her gorgeous hair was done for the evening. The brunette bombshell wore a wavy loose ponytail which was volumised with texture to suit her long locks. A must-have and achievable look for hair models who have long hair to work with. This would look lovely for child models, teen models and even any mums reading this too.
5. FKA Twigs; fierce but simple
Partings have made their mark for this year’s look as FKA Twigs also wore one with her look. A centred parting coupled with a high ponytail and two lush, fiery red strands to frame her stunning face. Another hairstyle that you can achieve quite easily in a morning rush to get to a modelling assignment, work or place of study. Try this past look that’s been reborn with colour.

Whether you’re after something bold, fierce, colourful, open, closed or parted, it seems like there is something for everyone with this year’s new hair looks. Go ahead and explore these great hairstyles and see which one you like.
