There are selfies and then there…are…cheque selfies!
Models Direct promotes these types of selfies because we love seeing our talent – young models and mature models – proudly holding up their cheques with huge smiles on their faces.
But why are cheque selfies so important to us, and why do we ask our models to submit theirs for the benefit of our social platforms?
Let’s take a look at what selfies are great for developing:
Self-expression. Cheque selfies are a visual tool in which models can thrive by practising and developing their perfectly captured snaps to express their personality and eagerness.
Documentation. Selfies demonstrate the story of the cheque. So, factors such as what project the model completed, when it happened, and how much they earned are documented and recalled with the image for record-keeping purposes.
Boosting confidence. Cheque snaps can help models feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and when the snap is released into the digital world, they might feel a sense of (hopefully positive) exposure and recognition.
We ensure that all sensitive and personal banking information is blurred before we officially post images of our models with their cheques online.
We’re always happy to see our models post their cheque snaps on their social platforms if they choose to do so. We gently remind them to be aware that blurring or covering their private information with filters or text is vital to preserve their confidentiality.
Selfies have become an all-over part of modern culture, and it makes business sense for our talent to showcase their pay cheques for our readers to see, as this is how we pay them.
If you’re interested in seeing our latest cheque snaps, two of our child models, Carter and Sienna, sent their selfies with their cheques.
Sienna had a photoshoot with TOFT and received £100 for her hard work whilst Carter acquired £150 for his modelling gig. Both looked chuffed and we’re positive they’ll be booked for more assignments in the future.
More of our recent editions to our 2024 cheque selfie gallery include Jack who received £50, Gary – £249, John – £80, Andrew – £80, Ian – £223 and Alex – £50.
