Côte Brasserie

Published: 20th Sep 2024

Now here’s a tasty modelling assignment three of our models got their teeth stuck into.

Côte Brasserie is a chain of high-class French restaurants with a reputation for style and finesse. Most of their outlets are in the London area and the south of England, although customers as far north as York and Edinburgh can experience the delights of their cuisine.

They required three models with a taste of adventure for a modelling shoot to entice customers with their Alpine menu. The special menu ran from late January to late February, but there was a unique twist: any customer who dined at their restaurants wearing ski gear was offered a free round of drinks. It was like an on-the-house apres-ski around the UK, and proved as popular as it suggests.

As with most successful advertising ideas, Côte Brasserie required the right models to appeal to their audience. Any success largely relies on people (customers) being aware of what companies are offering, and it usually takes careful planning. With the ideal PR / advertising firms, photographers, and models, it’s a heady mix of how the right results can be achieved. This was no different, but it starts with an idea, and then choosing the right models.

Step up Yewande, Alex and Athina, who were picked from a selection of Models Direct models. Our wintery trio were asked to don ski jackets, ear muffs, woolly hats, ski goggles to produce brilliant results at the restaurant’s St Christopher’s Place location in the heart of the West End, between Marylebone and Mayfair. Did it go “downhill”? Of course not – quite the opposite in fact. Talk about a glitzy commercial modelling job that hit just the right note.

Our models clicked their glasses in front of some scrummy food, enticing people to follow in their snowy steps and book a table wearing similar ski outfits. For those not able to experience an apres-ski in the French Alps, it was the most realistic alternative. The lucky three certainly thought so.

Athina said, “All the crew were nice and polite. I liked the overall theme of the shoot, and the atmosphere was great as well.”

“The team were really welcoming and made me feel comfortable,” revealed Yewande. “I felt well looked-after, and everyone was lovely which made the shoot tons of fun.”

What was not to be enjoyed in this assignment? They were treated like VIP guests, sharing highballs and apple spritzers in a salubrious environment. And – it goes without saying – they were paid for the pleasure. Not a bad job for a dreary January, right?

We love to show how our fantastic models get on in their assignments. It’s a reflection on them, our clients, and us. Whether it’s through our model’s reviews or showing off their modelling fees, it’s satisfying to know that Models Direct contribute to a model’s success.

As this winter shoot for Côte Brasserie proves, we continue to put forward the most suitable models for the best clients around.
