We have the biggest variety of assignments available to our models anywhere in the UK, so it’s fitting that this group booking demanded a good mix of models to make it go with a bang.
ZoieLogic is the brainchild of Zoie Golding – a non-for-profit performing arts organisation with an emphasis on males and those less likely to get involved in the arts. They’re based in Southampton, and their mission is to encourage people to get involved in dance.
One of their key projects is “The Big Movement”. At the heart of it is raising awareness of men’s mental health. There’s a lot less stigma attached to mental health these days, which can only be positive. ZoieLogic wants to continue educating and inspiring the population by engaging people with active projects that get people talking – and dancing.
“The Big Movement” will take place in Spring 2026 in Southampton, with a huge number of males taking centre stage throughout the city, dancing their hearts away to help tackle bold male concerns, including loneliness, depression and anxiety.
For the event to be a successful as anticipated, the dance theatre needed several commercial models to help them spread the word. Their first port of call was, of course, us. They knew that we’d have the right types of models, and we put forward a handful from which they could choose the most suited. Because mental health and loneliness can affect anyone at any time, it was important to choose models of all ability and age. Therefore, they opted for six Models Direct models that covered all spectrums of life.
Wheelchair user John was soon putting his spinning skills to good use as he effortlessly merged with other male models, including Muhammad, Lee, Renaldo and Alex.
John got in touch with us after the shoot, saying, “It was a wonderful opportunity through Models Direct. They organised for me to take part in a promotional video for men’s mental health. The event is called “The Big Movement” and is being run by the wonderful team ZoieLogic. I had a great time and met some fantastic people, and I’m hoping to get involved with this excellent cause more in the future. I’m very grateful to Models Direct for making me aware of The Big Movement and for giving me the opportunity to take part in it. Gemma at Models Direct has been very helpful and friendly, and made sure that I had all the information I needed to feel confident on the day.”
Reviews mean the world to us. It’s always wonderful to know that our models are looked after on set after we’ve got the ball rolling. We keep in touch with them throughout their assignments, so it’s reassuring when we’re told that the job’s are run smoothly.

You don’t have to be a male to appreciate that dance can break down barriers, contributing to positive wellbeing. We’re proud to have assisted ZoieLogic in their mission to promote male health and keep people talking about issues that really matter.
