Jetting Off
“Can you pass the amuse-bouche menu, please?”
Perhaps this isn’t a request often heard on modelling assignments, but it wouldn’t been out of place on Jay and Sarah’s recent high-flying job. Judging from their feedback, it must surely rank as one of our most pleasurable modelling jobs.
And why, you ask?
The client was Deluxe Catering, who required two adult models for their photo shoot onboard a private jet. Yep, you read that correctly – a private jet!
Just when you think our assignments couldn’t get any more exhilarating, our illustrious booking team shake their magic wand and pull this little gem out of the hat!
Deluxe Catering operate at two airside kitchens – one in Stansted and one near Farnborough, and they offer 5-star menus to all their customers. Indeed, they are one of only two dedicated private jet caterers allowed to deliver directly to aircraft airside at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. To cater for all tastes, they even offer Wimbledon and Royal menus, alongside traditional British, French, Thai, Italian, Indian, American and Halal menus to tickle the taste buds of foreign jet setters.
Talk about living the high life! But Jay and Sarah’s heads weren’t in the clouds because, like all our assignments, it required commitment and enthusiasm in equal measures, as well as a little bit of expert direction from the professional photographers. But once everything was organised, both our models soon relaxed in one of our most prestigious settings to date.
As Jay says, “Brilliant modelling shoot on a private jet! Wow. What a fantastic day! What a fantastic experience! I had to opportunity to be photographed on a private jet for a deluxe catering company. It was a challenging but confidence-building experience, meeting such an interesting company and innovative team. Models Direct were so helpful and guided me through the whole process. Can’t wait for my next booking!”

The shoot was organised at Farnborough Airport in Hampshire, which is classed as business / executive airport for exclusive clients. No mass queues or excessive passport controls here, thank you very much!
Okay, it was work, but what a job! It left Jay and Sarah in doubt that commercial modelling is both productive and lucrative – and fun! The job with Deluxe Catering also made the pair even more determined to continue their modelling careers by being put forward to other clients.
