Here at Models Direct we supply an array of different model types for jobs right across the country and beyond.
And, of course, many of the assignments our child, male and female models accept are fashion modelling photo or film shoots.
Active sportswear company Xfortysix, for example, recently approached us when they wanted to refresh their website with a whole new set of images.
Requiring a male model from us, they gave us a specific brief, and we searched through the e-portfolios of those on our books to provide them with a selection to choose from.
And they decided that Lukas was the just person they needed for their photo shoot in Liverpool.
Xfortysix describes itself as “where fitness meets fashion” and offers a collection of clothing made from high-quality materials that provide exceptional comfort.
The company also prides itself on designs that also look stylish.
Lukas went along to the assignment and had to pose in a variety of items – and he can now be seen modelling these on the company’s website.
Afterwards he told us:
“The experience in Liverpool was a brilliant one!
“All the team members that were there were really friendly: we all got on and had a good laugh together.
“Everyone was very friendly, happy to be there and most importantly, prepared!
“The product was seriously good quality and I will be promoting it personally on my social media platforms.
“Again, a brilliant day, some great people met and an experience to remember!”
Fashion modelling may sound a daunting prospect, but the reality is that most of the assignments we send our models along to involve camera rather than catwalk work.
With a good photographer or director at the helm, an experienced model isn’t always essential, which is why many of our clients will happily give new models a go.
What they are looking for is people who are prepared to listen, take direction and just be natural, relaxed and confident in front of the camera, the crew and other models.
Do you think this could be you?
If you’d like to find out more, send us a photograph or two and tell us more about yourself.
We will then contact you to discuss Models Direct, the part-time work we offer and how our processes work.
So, why not pull out a few outfits, ask a friend to start snapping and just see how much you enjoy fashion modelling?
