Here at Models Direct, we specialise in providing talented models to many professional clients up and down the country. Our client for this particular job was ICHI Worldwide, and the locations of the assignment were the training grounds of two major football clubs – Manchester City FC and Charlton Athletic FC.
When ICHI wanted 16 male models for their UK shoot, their thoughts turned to us. As one of the leading modelling agencies in Europe, we were thrilled to place 16 of our best male models at the two aforementioned football clubs – and our models were even more thrilled! It was more Models of the Day than Match of the Day!
ICHI Worldwide is an award-winning independent creative agency with offices in Holborn, London, and in Los Angeles (just off Santa Monica Boulevard). They are one of over 50 global operational studios supported by Keyword Studios, and are market leaders in the creative and marketing services to video game publishers – as well as to the entertainment and sports sectors around the world.
The job? ICHI required 16 male models to appear as extras for a new football video game, acting out realistic training ground scenes as both players and staff at both the football clubs. Now, Charlton Athletic fans, don’t be offended, but football clubs don’t come much more prestigious than Premiership giants Manchester City (apologies to Manchester United fans and other rivals!). Our models revelled at both the Etihad Campus and Charlton Athletic’s training ground, and proved a memorable experience that’ll live long in their memory.

So, it was arguably a male model’s dream job – and we arranged the whole event, from communicating with ICHI, the two training grounds, and, obviously, our esteemed models.
