Students have endured a tough time lately.
Uncertainty during lockdowns, tuition fees and growing pressures on graduating all contribute to a student’s mental state. It’s not all doom and gloom, though – far from it. Undergraduates can look forward to rosier times and concentrate on what makes student life a pleasure: meeting new like-minded people and studying hard to improve their chances of a fulfilling career. It’s once again a great time to be a student.
Of course, it’s always been a superb time to be a Models Direct model. Our client list constantly grows, and we have more eager commercial models on our books than ever. Talented models and loyal clients are the backbone of what we do, and our responsibility to them has never deviated over the thirty four years we’ve been in business.
It’s why one of our recent bookings was a pleasure to organise. Fresh Accommodation approached our booking team looking for six models to represent students to be photographed in various real-life situations in their student digs. Website and brochure images are crucial marketing tools to take the viewer into realistic scenarios. When only real models will do, Models Direct is often the go-to solution for our clients.
Our young adult and teenage models provided the best shortlist from which Fresh Accommodation chose their preferred models. As they provide some of the best student housing in the UK, they wanted to increase their reputation with a new marketing ploy involving talented commercial models and professional photographers.
The shoot took place in Newcastle, which is apt considering the city’s reputation for a vibrant student life. As students usually live and work together, Fresh Accommodation required a small group of young models to play the role of eager students going about their daily routine on site at their Newcastle student lodgings. It proved to be a perfect match for our six models.
One of our models, debutant Noel, said after the shoot, “It was a great first shoot. We had a fantastic experience, shooting with Fresh Student Accommodation in Market House in Newcastle. Every member of staff was very kind and very approachable. Any issue was addressed immediately. The feeling of the shoot was very relaxed and very professional and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my first shoot. The marketing team had excellent vision for each shot, and the photographers were excellent. I would recommend Models Direct!”
You don’t need experience to be a winning Models Direct model. Upon registration with us, you’ll be an active model on our books, and thus have the best chance of being presented to all sorts of clients around the country. Whilst it’s always been the client’s final decision as to which models get chosen, models can expect to be seen by several clients if their looks and profile fit the bill. And all for the equivalent of around £1 / week.
