Everyone likes being rewarded for their hard work. It doesn’t matter if it’s a solid handshake for a favour, or a monetary fee for a professional assignment. Any reward / compensation is a sign of respect.
Every since we started Models Direct way back in 1990, we’ve made a habit of showing others what our models have earned. It’s an example of our transparency, and we’ll continue taking pleasure in letting our social media followers and blog readers what our models have earned.
Working as a commercial model isn’t the same as other employment. We’re experts at finding our clients exactly the right type of talent to fulfil their marketing needs; that’s why our client list continues to grow, and with it the number of models looking for fantastic modelling jobs increases. However, when it comes to payment, we’re just that little bit different – and it’s to our models’ advantage.
A lot of employment agencies pay their employees on a weekly basis. That’s fine, and we certainly don’t want to insinuate this isn’t the done thing.
But we go one step further. We secure fees from our clients even before the assignment. That way, our models don’t have to wait for their pay cheque. It’s with them within 5 working days, which we think is more than fair for any model on our books. Our clients know that as well, as they appreciate this helps our business: with regular and prompt payment, models respect our practices – and therefore know we’re a trusted industry leader. It’s a two-way process, and we know it works like clockwork.
We enjoy seeing our models’ beaming smiles after they’ve received payment, and models are more than happy to be photographed along with their pay cheque. They comprise the variety of models reflects what we specialise in: any form of viable model that we know our clients are longing for, including mature models, teenagers, male and female adults and pets. All our models receive the best going rates, which vary depending on our client’s budgets.
We present our models with their cheques literally every day. As our client list is the largest in the UK modelling world, it’s unsurprising that we receive numerous requests for models daily. They know that we deliver on their requirements, recommending models for them to choose from – often at short notice. It means clients don’t have to advertise for active talent, and it allows us to apply our professional knowledge to give them exactly what they need: committed, flexible models with a desire to make all their assignments successful.
If your eyes light up at the words “pay” and “cheque”, you might like to study some real fee amounts. Larger brands usually have bigger budgets, and therefore we offer higher fees to models. Some models are happy with a couple of assignments per year to satisfy their hobby, whilst others wish to accept as many jobs as possible to be paid more. It’s a model’s decision to accept a job, and no one else’s.
We’ll put models forward to as many suitable jobs as we can. We can’t guarantee work every time, but we can guarantee a rewarding pay cheque within 5 days of completing an assignment. Best of all, every one’s happy – our models, our clients, and us.
