It’s not a requirement to look super-stylish on set as a commercial model, but it helps!
If you look at Ola’s photos after his second time in front of the cameras with Getty Images, you’d be forgiven for thinking our wonderful models always look this fab. Of course, all our models do look radiant on every assignment, but maybe not this chic. A lot of our models have to dress accordingly, fitting a brief that our clients think is the most effective way to get their message across. For our models, this could be posing as any number of nationwide staff, from NHS personnel to school staff. They could be modelling sports gear or in their day-to-day clothes abroad (yes – abroad!). But for this Getty Images shoot, Ola and his modelling colleague Junita were the epitome of fashionable elegance. If they were more camera-friendly, they’d have grabbed the photographer’s equipment and taken it out for dinner!
We’re no strangers to providing a wide variety of talent to global clients. This isn’t a surprise considering we’ve been in the commercial modelling business for 32 years now. Our client base has increased steadily to reflect our professionalism, and Getty Images have been at the top of their game since their inception in 1995 (five years after MD’s beginnings!). Working with a world-recognised photography business may sound daunting to some models, but Ola and Junita once again brought their A-game to proceedings and proved their modelling mettle to capture exactly what Getty Images were hoping for.

Ola looked quite the trendy gent, posing in dazzlingly classy clobber to capture the perfect photos. Not wanting to be left out of the modelling spotlight, Junita also donned refreshingly refined outfit to leave her and Getty Images with the satisfaction of a job well done. She said, “Great experience working with Getty Images. Booking and all details were sent promptly by Charlie. Appreciate the quick response to all my questions. I loved the shoot and look forward to more. We were very well looked after by client and by Models Direct!”
Charlie is one of the most experienced members on our booking team, and absolutely loves making sure every assignment runs like a well-oiled machine. Junita’s appraisal further cements the fact that our models are in the best possible hands for all stages of the assignment, from initial booking to a follow-up chat to see how things went.
