Talk about an uplifting modelling assignment…
Four of our models were recently asked to pose as a group of pub diners for Greene King’s new pub menu. This booking surely gives the UK hope, as the hospitality industry looks set to return to normality, welcoming customers back in the near future without any restrictions. Things are on the up!
Our client, Greene King, is the UK’s leading pub retailer, operating over 3,000 pubs, restaurants and hotels across the nation. With such extensive coverage, Greene King’s pubs are enjoyed by millions of thirsty, hungry and sleepy people every year. Their budget dictated the company could choose from any modelling employment agency, but guess what? Their no.1 choice was us! This isn’t surprising given our reputation and thousands of positive appraisals, but it’s something we’re proud of and we don’t mind telling everyone.
Organised by Birmingham-based independent PR agency WPR, the job required four young models (two females, two males) to pose in a comfy pub setting, perusing Greene King’s new menu. We’re not sure if they were allowed to sample some of the pub chain’s alcoholic tipples, but they certainly had fun!
This was an example of another commercial modelling job for four models who got on well together and who look forward to more assignments as ambitious, talented Models Direct models. Any campaign that increases a client’s brand awareness is always valuable, and our models soon settled down to star in this most enjoyable of assignments.
The hospitality sector has been hit harder than most during the past sixteen or so months, so it’s good to see our models contributing to help revive the industry. The assignment took place in Derby – quite apt, since the city is only a few miles north of Burton upon Trent, which is renowned for its history of brewing. Modelling has always been enjoyable, rewarding work, but surely working in a pub has to be one of the best!
Our two female models, Viktorija and Jasmine, were quick to relay their feedback to Models Direct HQ. “I had a great photo shoot today!” beamed Viktorija. “I met very nice colleagues and I’m looking forward to working with Models Direct soon.”
The Greene King assignment was Jasmine’s first with us. She said, “I had my first shoot this week with Models Direct. It was at a pub to take images of the new menu, and everything was well arranged. I was given the right details and the job went well. I hope for more shoots soon!”
Both have several thousand followers on social media, so this will be great exposure. We hope to place them in more exciting jobs soon.
Which leaves the two gents, Mosope and Joshua. The former was eager to let us know his experience. “Overall it was a fun experience, and the shoot didn’t last too long. The shoot was in a nice pub setting, and everyone was professional and the fellow casting mates were easygoing and friendly.”
We hear this a lot, and long may it continue. Modelling can often lead to friendships with modelling colleagues, so if you think you have the qualities to be a model but haven’t acted on your ambitions, please get in touch with us and we’ll see what you can bring to the (pub) table.
