If you know your googlies from your leg breaks, then this assignment is right up your street. And if you enjoy knocking back a few ales whilst watching the most quintessential English sport that is cricket, then you’ll be in seventh heaven!
Recently a handful of our illustrious models were handpicked for a worthwhile assignment in a sporting setting that proved as successful as expected.
Greene King brewery are giants in the hospitality industry, with nearly 3,000 pubs, hotels and restaurants dotted around the country. The Suffolk-based business initiated a fundraising campaign in which they donated 10p from every pint of their India Pale Ale (IPA) sold, and 50p from every four-can pack purchased. The money from the brewery’s “Proud To Pitch In” campaign went to local sports clubs to help them continue growing and attract more players at a grassroots level. So how did Greene King kick off this sensational endorsement? They got in touch with us, obviously!
When looking to promote their IPA to help sports clubs, Greene King had the brainwave of recreating a cricket match with a few famous flannelled stars, namely spin maestro Graeme Swann, top left-arm fast bowler Ryan Sidebottom and right-arm speed demon Alex Tudor. right, that was the ex-pros sorted. Now all they needed was a cricket pitch, pads, gloves, and the glorious sound of leather on willow. but what of the rest of the players?
Well, this is where yours truly gladly stepped in. After reading the brief we selected a few of our models to make the promotion more realistic, and to appeal to both sports clubs and fans of Greene King’s moreish 3.6% IPA. Our up-for-it models fit the bill and couldn’t have expected the national promotion to have gone any better. In fact, you could say that all of them were rightly “bowled over”!

How many models can claim to have rubbed shoulders with ex-England national sportsmen? Not many, we bet!
Annika was thrilled with her experience. She reported, “It was amazing! I met some wonderful people, the cast was so kind, patient and fun, interacting with me to get the best results.
