While many of us look forward to holidays and spending time with our children, there are others who worry about school breaks due to the costs of having to provide more food.
In fact, new research by the Warburtons Foundation revealed some 64 per cent of parents are worried about the increased expense of their child being at home during the holidays.
Major supermarket chain Morrisons and renowned bakery company Warburtons therefore decided to step in and see what they could do to help out at breakfast time.
They opted to launch their ‘Ask for Ellen’, giving away a tasty portion of two hot crumpets, with butter and jam, to those in need for the duration of the campaign.
Anyone seeking the delicious dish simply had to turn up at a café in Morrisons during the school holidays and just “ask for Ellen.”
They would then be served some breakfast crumpets, free of charge and with no questions asked.
The initiative, named after Ellen Warburton, the founder of Warburtons, follows on from the “Ask for Henry” campaign, which saw Morrisons partner with Heinz to give away a free jacket potato and beans in its cafés.
Models Direct has supplied male, female and child models on numerous occasions for the various campaigns and promotions mounted by Morrisons.
And, of course, we were only too happy to help again.
We provided a selection of models for the client to choose from and Keeley was one of those who was successful.
Afterwards, we asked her for her feedback and this is what she said:
“I was very nervous at first as this was my first assignment, but there was no need to be.
“The communication was very clear from the moment of booking and all the way through.
“The team took great care of me, and made me feel very welcome and relaxed.
“Thank you so much.”
