We’ve written a few blogs looking at this area of our UK modelling agency, and we thought why don’t we bring a fresh instalment to you and answer this: how do I book models? This blog is dedicated to all our clients and those curious to understand how we book talent.
First up, a little intro to who we are
We’re a team of humans. Enough said. Okay, maybe not enough but we’re not automated bots. We’ve dedicated over thirty years to our craft and we continue to learn, develop and grow as a team who are one of the best in the UK and Europe modelling scene to connect the best and widest pool of talent to clients. Our talent is happy to travel in the UK and abroad according to what clients need.

If you’re a client looking to hire, these are the steps you and our agency have to observe to help you find the right talent for your marketing campaign.
Complete our online application form
The application process is straightforward, and best of all, it’s online. All you’ll have to do is fill in the following information:

Business Name
Contact Name
Telephone
Email
Description
An added extra is to upload a booking brief to help our team understand your requirements which even though is optional, we highly recommend it. Your form will ping on our system and one of our specialist coordinators will look into it.
The matching process begins
Depending on how large scale the brief is, one or several of our coordinators will conduct a thorough search of our modelling database which consists of all of our registered talent. We then shortlist our models(s) ready to present to you.
Showcasing ePortfolios
We’ll share a link with you which consists of all our shortlisted models which match closely to your requirements. These images will be our models’ latest look so no surprises of drastic hair changes or facial enhancements unless our models inform us otherwise. We’re always reminding our talent to update their portfolios, keeping them fresh and current.
The selection process begins
You’ll be able to view the portfolios and select the talent you want to be working with. If you prefer to consider a casting call, live audition or self-tape audition our team will arrange this for you. You can then go ahead and inform us who you’d like to hire along with a few extra models just in case your first choice is unavailable.
Getting started
This is the fun part! Our team gets to share the good news of being selected directly with our models. Their happy responses are what makes it so worth it being in this industry. If they’re happy to go ahead with the work, we brief them about the assignment, covering areas such as the background of your company, what the assignment entails, the fees, travel, dress code, and schedule.
This is how our booking process works. Models Direct has been doing it for more than 30 years, and so far it’s been productive for all the clients and models we’ve worked with.
