When one of the most well-known pub chain subsidiaries comes to our modelling agency, Models Direct, and requests a male and female model, we are ready to make it happen!
We’re certain that you’d have heard of Hungry Horse! With 246 pub restaurants scattered across England, Wales and Scotland, the chain is going from strength to strength. They’re nestled in areas where our agency has models and clients who have worked with us on other leading projects and assignments.
For this marketing campaign, Hungry Horse wanted to harness the power of social media where the UK alone has 57.1 million active social media users! It’s phenomenal to think how far the use and reach of technology has come over recent times, and how many capabilities are accessible to us just on our smartphones!
On this occasion, Hungry Horse wanted to market itself with relatable and appealing POV material to new and existing audiences helping to create potential customers.
Modelling isn’t always about strutting down a runway, folks! No siree! It’s definitely more versatile than most of us think when it comes to being a professional commercial, catalogue and promotional model, and this assignment demonstrates that.
You’ve guessed right if you’ve figured that they chose the global video community platform TikTok to utilise.
The pub chain handed us a copy of their plan and no doubt included their model specifications (sounds a bit technical but it was an outline of what they were looking for in their star models who were to be filmed). Our expert coordinators got to work looking through our database of models. We shortlisted some male and female models who we thought could be potential TikTok characters, and Hungry Horse chose Sophia and Emmanuel.
Together the pair, who have never met before, stepped in to make some excellent content on @hungryhorsepubs. But you’d never think looking at them that they had only greeted each other for the first time a few moments ago. Interested in seeing the latest content? Check it out here!
