Everyone has a model in them.
How can we say this when people act and think differently? It’s true that not everyone can succeed in certain jobs, with many roles demanding specific qualifications, experience and knowledge. That’s why most job openings require interview processes. Generally, applicants need to demonstrate their strengths to employers. Models must do the same when applying with us, although our process is far simpler than most.
We don’t just believe everyone has a model in them – we know it. We know this because our commercial models are individuals just like our readers and supporters: everyday people with a variety of looks. We know it, also, because thousands of our proactive models have already done it, as the impressive list of reviews proves.
“But I’ve never modelled before!” you might be thinking. True, but that’s no obstacle whatsoever. Again, we know this because we never ask that experience be a condition when applying. Many of our models have impressed our clients without prior experience. It’s a huge reason why we’re the no.1 modelling employment agency in the UK – we’re open-minded to anyone who wants to be a model.
So, is modelling for you? Only you can answer the question. However, we can prompt you to think about it more deeply in the form of a series of questions. If you can answer a resounding “YES!” to all of them, then modelling is a viable option for you.
Are you out-going and sociable?
Modelling is fun. We can’t think of many other jobs where employees are paid to have a good time. Whilst models need to be professional and show commitment to each assignment, they can let their hair down and express themselves in a convivial manner.
Do you want to make some money?
Of course you do. Our models love the fact that they can work at times convenient with them, and make money doing so. We obtain payment from our clients before models arrive for work, which means that we pay models far quicker than most agencies – within 5 working days. Check out some of beaming models posing with their hard-earned cheques here.
Do you want to work with some of the most familiar brands in the country?
Depending on the brief and ages of models our brands require, you could be working with huge brands like Lloyds Bank, Morrisons, John Lewis and River Island, to smaller business in just about every corner of the UK. We have the brands on our books that could very well be looking for someone just like you. You can’t approach them directly, so joining a trusted agency like us is the first stepping stone to be seen by them.
Are you reliable?
Once you’ve accepted a modelling job, are you punctual? Our clients respect models to be dependable, and you’ll be far more likely to be offered more jobs.
Are you thick-skinned and persistent?
Models must know from the start that only our clients make the final decision in selecting models. This means that some models might be disappointed. We advise all models to keep updating their portfolios so we can see if you’ve changed your looks.
Are you organised and capable of following directions?
You’ll probably work with photographers, film makers and brand marketing teams on set. Therefore, models must be keen listeners and methodical. You’ll be part of a team working to the same goal.
And an additional question… Are you part of a gregarious family, or do you own a pet that you think could be valuable in marketing assignments? We have loads of opportunities for diverse families and talented animals, so don’t forget that we cater for every possible type of model.
With the demand for models at peak levels, modelling is definitely for you – and everyone else.
