Commit to be fit with TfL’s new campaign
COVID-19 has changed the way we live, the way we work and travel. Transport for London (TfL) recognise the change the virus has made on travel so they have come up with some practical tools to help businesses encourage their workforce to pick active travel options (hence the new active travel campaign). When travel restrictions applied and where certain modes of transport were facing service level issues, TfL came up with a solution to encourage travelling Londoners to walk, jog or cycle to and from work instead.
Now, imagine being asked to be the face of this campaign? Well, this happened with four of our lucky Models Direct talent….
Naturally, the campaign was shot in the hubbub of London where our models, Abigail, Alfredo, Naay and Antony, were ready for street-based active travel. In fact, this hasn’t been the first time that TfL have reached out to our agency requesting our professional models. We have a good work relationship with TfL alongside many other clients who regularly check-in for our talent.
“Had a shoot today for TFL – the shoot was really fun and everyone that attended were really nice. Everyone made eachother comfortable which made the shoot have a easier flow” – Naay
“Video Shoot for TFL & 5 Stars for Models Direct! Very good agency! Last weekend I had my first paid job with Models Direct for TFL! Charlie is the best agent ever! She’s very professional. It was an amazing day and I got my first star as a model with experience. Without MD team I couldn’t get that! Thanks so much Models Direct Agency!!!” – Alfredo
TfL Covid Measures
Planning a journey ahead is essential especially now that we are all adhering to the social distancing measures. TfL has created more space for people to safely walk, jog or cycle managing the coronavirus pandemic and practising social distancing when travelling to work. If you’ve been out and about in London, you have probably noticed the temporary Covid cycle lanes and wider pavements that have been developed to help keep everyone safe. You can check out Footways, in print or digital, a network of quiet and interesting streets for walking in central London if you want to get yourself moving about. TfL wanted to showcase the adaptation we can make to continue to live our lives alongside the virus.
Modelling work is still moving
Despite the unusual situation of businesses and venues shutting down and opening up a few times, Models Direct have not felt any decrease in bookings with our top clients. In fact, work has been flowing throughout the course of the lockdown and our amazing models have continued to participate in an array of assignments. The variety of work we have is phenomenal as we cover a broad sphere of modelling categories and we have a large client base which we have established through our 30 years of dedicated modelling service.
With the compelling campaign that TfL brought to our table, this healthy way of travel was exactly what Abigail, Alfredo, Naay and Antony were raising awareness for and it was an overall success! If you want to get involved, get in touch with our modelling agency today!
