You’re never too old to stop learning – so why not try to learn something new every day?

Whether you are a fashion model who wants to take up a new language, a teen model keen to pick up the guitar or a senior model eager to find out more about computing, now might the time to start.

There are all sorts of ways of learning something new, from signing up to a class to teaching yourself at home.

And by browsing on the internet, you will find all sorts of fantastic resources, from online tutorials to material you can use to teach yourself that new skill every day. We have loads of tips on our site !

Set yourself a small window every day when you concentrate on learning your new skill, activity or pastime.

Try doing it at the same time every day so it becomes part of your regular routine and something to look forward to.

Setting yourself goals, achieving them and finding satisfaction in learning will help your mental well-being.

You should also find you take pleasure in the process of learning something new and this will hopefully add a new layer of contentment to your life.

The more you learn, the more you will want to keep learning and the more you can keep challenging yourself in different ways the more alert you should find yourself.

You may well benefit from the “me time” you discover as you try to learn something new every day.

You could, however, sometimes involve your children, partner or parents. Let them join in with you once or twice a week and enjoy practicing your new skills together.
