Leicestershire Police – What Kind of Mate Are You?

Published: 4th Jun 2024

Are you the kinda mate that larks about with your buddies – the joker in your group? Or are you the mate that wears an invisible cape and saves the day? (We’re thinking flat batteries or flat tyres!) Or are you the one who knows how to cool a potential situation that could kick off when you’re out on a Saturday night together?

A recent campaign originally commissioned by Leicestershire Police is now in circulation. Its strong breakthrough message is simple yet effective. Breakouts happen – sometimes something as simple as a misunderstanding, or a round of drinks can end in a scuffle. However, it’s all about raising awareness amongst friend groups revolving around possible scenarios that could trigger an unpleasant night out, and simple steps you can take to diffuse the situation.

Our Models Direct male models Adam, Chukwuemeka, Joe, Mehdi and Samuel stepped up and took a stand for the “We Walk Away” project. They were shortlisted by our expert modelling specialists who have an intuitive flair for selecting closely matched talent for client briefs – this event was no different.

If you head over to the website and/or TikTok platform, you’ll find our models in several stills laughing on a night out, and looking like they’ve been mates forever! ….But the truth is, they all met for the first time when they had to pose for the stills.

This is one of the many charms of being a model. Models can be grouped with other people or animals they’ve probably never met before for all sorts of campaigns, helping develop their teamwork skills.

Our models pulled it off and created a glowing showcase of believable snaps but in reality, they all got along well so the job wasn’t just a job but it was more about being paid for collaborating with super fun people. This demonstrates the evident raw power of creativity that our modelling agency has always supported – where everyday models can come together and create significant assignments with purpose.

We got to hand it over to them after they completed their work by leaving some of the greatest feedback ever! (Thanks, guys!)

Adam expresses:

“I had a great first experience modelling. The people from the campaign were extremely friendly and enthusiastic. Made being natural in front of the camera really easy. Looking forward to the next job…”

Chukwuemeka left us short and sweet feedback:

“It was good the team were helpful and friendly.”

Joe says:

“Had a lovely time shooting for Magpie under-representation of Models Direct very smooth process and fast communication, looking forward to the next job!”

Thanks, Samuel for your amazing feedback too:

“My first job with Models Direct. It was fun we had a great time acting VIPs and had our little paparazzi meet other models as well. A wonderful experience.”

Mehdi shares:

“It was great working with Models Direct, everyone was super friendly and clear with where to go and what to do.”
