We all love our precious pets and other people love seeing them too – especially around Christmas time!
Models Direct has a long history in supplying pet models for all sorts of advertising campaigns and promotional projects, including many that appear during the festive season.
Our perfect puppies, delightful dogs and cute kittens have been starpets for clients ranging from John Lewis to Lancôme and Felix.
Their fluffy features and hilarious antics have been caught on camera for television advertising, magazine spreads and social media content. They have been photographed under laden Christmas trees and against backdrops of sparkling festive lights and have looked adorable perched on top of piles of presents and peeping out from inside Christmas toys.
Our pet models are the centre of attention
Pet modelling is enjoyable for the owners and great fun for the cuddly creatures themselves too!
Our four-legged friends are showered in attention, lavished with love and looked after from start to finish on each and every assignment.
When working with Lancôme, for example, a professional dog handler was booked for the day to help with the puppies on set, which is not unusual.
Puppy love
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this very special Christmas shoot – here is what the puppies’ owner had to say:
“I was delighted to receive a phone call from Models Direct – Molly was the agent who dealt with me and was really lovely explaining everything in good detail and answering any questions I had. The day before the shoot and on the morning itself, Molly again was very good on keeping in touch and keeping me updated with times etc. The day was long and we did have a lot of waiting around but we were very well looked after, the dog trainer that was assigned to help with the shoot was really patient, gentle and knowledgeable. We had our own very quiet room and our two puppies had plenty of space to play around and to rest. The dog trainer had bought along toys and props to help with the shoot and had some great ideas which I learned from. My favourite part of the day was seeing the puppies on set – they were adorable! The camera men, crew and the model where all lovely and really chatty making me feel comfortable. I would do this again and would recommend Models Direct as they really looked after me.”

And cats can be just as much in demand….
Three of our fabulous felines took part in the shoot for Felix – and the owner of one of these absolute starpets reported back:
“It was a really good day – there were initially three cats including Bo cat, but he ended up stealing the show and the guys decided to use him for the majority of the shoots that day. He did really well and was very chilled, so we got loads of good stuff out of him! The team were all really accommodating and great to work with. Thanks to Molly at Models Direct for sorting it all out and making everything run smoothly.”
