If you know your Water Works from your Community Chest, this recent assignment is right up your street – from old Kent Road to Mayfair.
Labelled as the world’s favourite family game, Monopoly has been a staple in households for decades. It has now larger than life, with players invited to come to the heart of the West End and indulge their fascination of the famous board game on a 15m x 15m board. With physical and mental puzzles along the way, Monopoly Lifesized is a full-for-all-the-family physical edition of the much-loved game.
No wonder our star teen model Benjamin couldn’t wait to get to grips with his first shoot with Models Direct.
Ahead of the promotional photo shoot, Benjamin was greeted by friendly and engaging colleagues. When he was comfortable working with his new-found friends, he was in his element amongst the giant-sized dice. Under the lights, he was grinning ear-to-ear as the photographer captured his talents.
Monopoly Lifesized can be played on three different boards – City, Luxury and Classic boards – so it’s a fab twist on the still-popular traditional game. Though our younger models are aware that they’re representing us and our clients when they’re on set, they always have a fun experience, which the photos clearly show. In fact, when Benjamin was photographed amongst his affable Monopoly Lifesized co-workers, you’d be forgiven he was on a modelling shoot – especially when he accrued bundles of cash.
Though it wasn’t real money, Benjamin did look forward to earning a decent pay cheque. We’re strong advocates of letting our models know we’re always looking out for them, which includes paying our hard-working talent the very best fees around within 5 working days of completion of the assignment. We’re a no-nonsense, highly professional agency with the best reputation in the business, so we do sometimes like to blow our collective trumpets. And why shouldn’t we? All our top-notch reviews back-up our hard work, as well as the capability of our clients. Read more about us and our values here.
Benjamin enjoyed giving us his feedback – probably straight after he told his school friends! His mum, Gemma, said on behalf of her son, “Before I went I was very nervous as it was my first shoot, but everyone was so nice and friendly that they put me at ease. I was excited and ready to go. I really enjoyed playing the classic board, spinning the wheel and collecting the money. I was very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble.
Looking forward to my next job.”
Monopoly Lifesized is a classic example of a tried-and-trusted brand requiring real people to appeal to the population. Benjamin is just one of the confident teenagers on our books.
