Our modelling agency loves to be part of great initiatives like Morrisons’ wonderful charity cause which runs through the festive period. This isn’t the first time the chain has contacted us looking to hire our wonderful models.
They’re one of our regular clients and as much as they’ve been pleased with our comprehensive services, our expert team has been thrilled to help them create compelling campaigns with our male and female models.
Morrisons festive campaign
Since 2021, customers have been able to donate towards their local store’s nominated food bank or community group to help people who might be struggling particularly during this time of the year.
The initiative has been set up so that if customers are interested, all they have to do is head over to their local store’s ‘Giving Tree,’ and pick up a bauble hung on it. They can then either contribute £1, £2 or £5 by scanning the bauble at the till and having it added to their shopping list.
Year after year, the campaign’s been going strong where in 2022, Morrisons managed to accumulate over £350,000 to the causes demonstrating the continual goodwill of customers.
This particular booking focused on promoting customers purchasing Morrisons’ popular ‘Pick up Packs’ and earning 100 extra points for their Christmas donation. The pre-packed bags were filled with items that food banks needed the most during this time.
Morrisons were looking for a female model for an in-store photoshoot so our expert modelling coordinators set to work matching the supermarket’s brief to the models in our books.
After shortlisting a number of our models, Morrisons selected Lexi. She really enjoyed her experience, helping the company raise awareness of their affiliation with local food banks. She left a positive comment about her assignment which she was happy to share:
“Incredible first shoot. Had a really amazing first shoot through Models Direct. The people I worked with today were lovely and put me at ease straight away. Everyone was really easy going and we got to have a good laugh while we worked.
As usual, communication with Charlie from MD was an absolute breeze. She kept me in the loop and made sure I had all the information I needed. If the next shoot is as great as this was, then I cannot wait!” (assignment completed on 28th November 2023).
