We have a snapshot of three marketing campaigns that are tied in with current key events and dates. Models Direct have been side by side with the major supermarket chain helping them showcase their latest dazzling deals and incentives for shoppers, and of course, introducing our wonderful models to them. We’ll walk you through some of the recent projects we’ve been working on at different Morrisons stores and show you what our models have taken from the experience with their images and feedback. The Semedo family – who comprised of a mother and daughter duo, Lara and Nivi were all called for by Morrisons’ team to curate the stories they wanted to tell. Each of our commercial models posed for stills to create beautiful promotional images that would get customers talking and spending.
Dream team – The Semedo family
First up, our mama and little girl team – Monica and Alana – were at the forefront promoting free, yes free, hot cross buns for Good Friday. As if life couldn’t get any sweeter? And it did, thanks to Morrisons’ generosity and need to spread some hot cross bun love! Our delightful duo were a force to be reckoned with – we’re serious, check out their gorgeous stills right here. Their feedback matches their smiles which you can have a read right here:
“Another great assignment from MD. As always, Charlie was lovely and very professional. No rest in making sure I received and understood all the information for the job. Everyone made us feel very comfortable, Alana (3) had so much fun that she keeps asking to go back to the photoshoot. Can’t wait for the next one.”
Fancy photo shoot with Lara
In line with the massive Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration that is set to take place very very soon, Morrisons wanted to show their love for her great length of monarchy and achievements by launching an oh-so-cute Corgi Cake and who better to help demonstrate it than our model Lara. It was laughter and smiles all day on the set for the photoshoot and displaying the grand cute looking cake on a fancy cushion to give it the royal treatment it deserved was a great marketing idea.
Lara filled us in with her short and sweet feedback, “Nice, fun shoot. The client and photographer were really lovely and made me feel at ease.”
Reaching for the stars – Nivi
Finally, whizzing off to another Morrisons store in the UK was model, Nivi. She was there to assist with the new limited edition of the ‘Elizabeth Sponge,’ for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – a rebranding of the classic Victoria sponge cake. Mm, yummy! This winning campaign landed in the Evening Standard and Independent giving it more media coverage which made us feel really proud as this was Nivi’s first project with us.
She explains, “My first assignment with Models Direct went really well today. The team was great to work with and it was so relaxed! Charlie was brilliant and explained everything beforehand. Looking forward to more assignments!”
