As an international agency we supply models for shoots right across the world.
But nowhere could be more beautiful than this stunning location in the heart of the Lake District.
Models Direct was asked to present a list of its models that met requirements for this incredible photoshoot for BMW.
As usual, we got into the fast lane immediately and came up with a powerful selection for representatives of the luxury car brand to consider.
They selected female model Amy and male model Andrew and before they knew it the lucky pair were off to magnificent Cumbria.
The shoot was to promote a new partnership between BMW and National Parks UK, aiming to get drivers of electric cars (EVs) out and about in the picturesque countryside more.
The Recharge in Nature Project aims to allay the fears of those behind the wheels of EVs by improving the network of chargers.
They want to make it easy to find somewhere to power these cars back up when necessary.
The campaign also pledges to support vital nature restoration, biodiversity and sustainability initiatives across all 15 of our national parks.
Many of these scenic swathes of the UK are in fairly remote locations and so it is estimated that some 91 per cent of trips to enjoy them are made by car.
The vast majority of these are still petrol or diesel-powered vehicles but the hope is that the campaign will see more of these journeys now done by EVs.
Amy and Andy started their shoot at the luxury Brimstone Hotel, not far from Ambleside and Lake Windermere.
Known for its sumptuous rooms and stylish spa, as well as its exceptional location, this was a magical place to step out in front of the cameras.
The pair then posed for a number of pictures with the breathtaking, panoramic scenery of the Lake District forming a natural backdrop for the shoot.
Having a day out to somewhere as gorgeous as this really did give our models a chance to experience a location that was different and unique.
It highlighted the fact that modelling can be a very varied job or pastime – and that those modelling with us really can be offered work anywhere at all.
Amy was also thrilled with the way the assignment had been arranged and with the support she was given by us, our clients and their representatives.
Afterwards she told us:
“Charlie [from Models Direct] made this whole process so easy!
“She’s very approachable and put my mind at ease straightaway – the modelling world is relatively new to me, so this was important!
“I had all the information I needed and the guys from the PR company on the day were super friendly and relaxed, which definitely made for better photos, as it ensured my partner and I were relaxed too.
“I’d definitely accept further jobs from Models Direct.”
