It was quite simply animal magic when five of our young child models were chosen to take part in a children’s television programme with Sky.
Yes, Bella, Ethan, Romeo, Aaryan and Sky (what a very apt name for someone taking part in this assignment!) were picked to appear in Awesome Animals and Mini Me.
Presented by Radzi Chinyanganya, the Sky Kids programme celebrates a different animal every week, giving five to seven-year-olds an opportunity to learn fascinating facts, play games, dance and sing.
Using cutting-edge technology to create 3D photo-real environments, our young models were able to appear as if in exotic locations – without ever leaving the comfort of the studio!
The whole experience was extremely exciting for the whole of our team and, of course, their families too!
Our client contacted us about their requirements for the show.
But, instead of supplying them with a shortlist of appropriate people as we usually do, this time we had to ask a selection of our suitable child models to complete an online audition.
As a result, they sent in their own tapes for the team at Sky to consider.
And all those who were selected were, of course, simply overjoyed.
They all had a simply awesome time at the studio but we will let them – or their parents – tell you all about it themselves!
Ethan’s parent told us:
“The first day was a rehearsal and photoshoot, it was extremely well organised and everyone was really lovely and friendly. This was then followed by two half days of filming.
“We were welcomed by the film production crew, who were constantly looking after both Ethan and me – and he loved every minute of it.
“All the other children on set were super friendly and they played games in the downtime.
“This was Ethan’s first assignment with Models Direct, after only joining five weeks before, and it has been amazing. He looks forward to more.”
Romeo’s mum said it was a “great experience.”
“Everything was well organised and we had clear instructions on directions, days and times for the shoot.
“The company my son was working for was extremely hospitable, and the customer service from Gemma at Models Direct has been excellent.”
Aaryan himself told us:
“It was an absolutely delightful experience filled with joy and excitement.
“I was pampered and well taken care of, making every moment truly unforgettable.
“It was undeniably the best experience of my life, leaving me with cherished memories that I will forever hold.

“I look forward to more wonderful experiences with you in the future!”
And on behalf of little Sky, we were told we were…
…“wonderful people who are very helpful throughout the whole process when my daughter is selected for an acting or modelling role.

And Bella’s parent added:
