Getting booked by a well-recognised brand
Being booked by a big name always gets us excited for our family models. Park Holidays is certainly one of the leading competitors in the holiday parks industry, and they approached our team for a family modelling squad to showcase their services. We were super excited because we knew just the right family that would get the gig, the House family!
Based in a beautifully scenic part of the UK – East Sussex – Park Holidays is bursting with a total of 30 parks perfect for holidaying dotted across the south and southeast of England, so you’re really spoilt for choice! Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Essex and Suffolk are the go-to Park Holidays locations to have a brilliant time to chillax and have proper downtime from the speed at which life is taking us with the ones you love.
Have you ever visited their static caravans, luxury lodges or touring pitched for tents and motorhomes? We’d love to hear from anyone who has! So, imagine being booked for a Park Holidays photoshoot and get paid for it?! The House family can fill you in on how it went with Mum, Lauren, expressing:
We had a fabulous time on our park holiday shoot. Models direct kept us really informed and made the whole experience really easy and accommodating for my three young girls, looking forward to our next one!!!
What more could you really ask for? Lauren, Shan, Delilah, Tallulah and Essie were chosen just like the Breese family were where you can catch what they get up to here.
What our family models got up to
Our family modelling squad had footage captured of them enjoying time with the Crazy Club Team with the holiday park’s daytime and evening children’s fun and entertainment. Our child models got involved with the Loopy and Character Show where they interacted with the magic in the moment, had a go at craft pottery (watch out those who are entering The Great Pottery Throw Down – you may have some competition), and disco kids dancing fever where stills were shot close and wide.
They thoroughly enjoyed other activities: Wax Hands, Teddy Mountain, Hold the Hippo and wall climbing! Wow! Who’d have thought you could do that much in one day? This jam-packed assignment has turned into a winning campaign and we couldn’t be more proud of the House family. Their talents shone through the photographer’s camera where the idea to book a family holiday with Park Holidays was the vision which was successfully achieved.

Shine in your modelling portfolio
Getting to the top spot in modelling can be challenging. However, Models Direct gives everyone on our books a fair chance of entering this world. One area which we emphasise is building a modelling portfolio. This collection of photographs helps to showcase a model’s abilities, versatility and potential to clients, casting directors, and us, the agents. These can be curated by models themselves so no need to inject money into a professional photographer. With a variety of images that demonstrate the model’s range of looks and styles such as different poses, expressions and emotions, a portfolio is your modelling CV to demonstrate who you are.
Step into the world of family modelling
Families modelling refers to real or manufactured families for advertising and promotional campaigns. This can include parents, children, grandparents, and even extended family members such as siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins who may be cast together.
Family models are needed for family-oriented activities like staycations with Park Holidays, homes, cars, and consumer goods such as clothing, health and beauty. It’s a group effort and the important factors to remember are to have a good attitude, be comfortable in front of the camera and in large crowds and no doubt, have a good rapport with other family members!
