It was all about health and happiness for two of our models when they headed off to a shoot in Cardiff to help promote medication-free, pain relief patches.
Female model Zoila and male model Rhys were selected to take part in the photography session by social media agency Populate Social.
Although in the best of health themselves, they had to pretend to have pain and pose with the patches on, following the instructions given to them by the director on the day.
Drug and medication free, JointXcel pain relief patches work by reflecting far infrared energy, produced by the body, back into the skin at a deep level.
The idea is to stimulate the blood circulation as this in turn can reduce inflammation, providing pain relief and helping recovery.
Zoila and Rhys had to apply the patches to different parts of their bodies – the knees, backs of the necks, lower backs, ankles and hands.
They were asked to wear very plain clothing and the shoot, which took place in a studio and outside in Cardiff, involved taking close-up, as well as longer, shots.
Although both Zoila and Rhys are experienced models, neither had ever done anything like this before, revealing how modelling with Models Direct really can bring a different experience every time!
Both enjoyed their unusual day of work and were happy to give us feedback afterwards.
Zoila reported back to say: “Thanks so much for another day of fun!”
And Rhys added: “Yet another amazing experience courtesy of Models Direct, all be it totally different from the other shoot. But all experience is valued!
“The crew where amazing and so helpful – and the other model, Zoila, was invaluable with experience.”
We can’t wait to see the final images!
