It’s great to be paid for doing something you really enjoy – and certainly modelling often falls into that bracket.
Of course, it can be hard work and tiring at times, but if you read the feedback from our models, then you will see just how much they love it too!
Promotional modelling can be especially rewarding for those models who are genuine “people” people.
This is because it involves lots of interaction, both with the general public and our clients.
But, what exactly is promotional modelling?
Promotional modelling is where our male and female models help our clients out at an event, such as a new store or branch opening or an exhibition or trade show.
The idea is that the model will help the general public to engage with the specific company and tempt them to find out more about a particular product or service being offered.
Our models might be asked to hand out free samples, demonstrate how a product works or simply smile and be friendly while dressed in a branded outfit.
Two of our lovely models, Rebecca and Mohammed, were recently booked to carry out some promotional modelling work at Clegg Gifford, a Bristol-based insurance broker.
The well-known company, which has a national clientele, was launching new premises in the city and needed their help.
Afterwards, Rebecca told us:
“I had an amazing day supporting Clegg Grifford’s new branch opening!
“The staff were all so lovely and welcoming.
“I was made to feel very comfortable throughout my work shift and can’t wait for my next assignment with Models Direct.”
Promotional modelling can be a great step into the modelling industry; it can help our models to build confidence and learn to interact with others while following instructions.
And, of course, it can be great fun too – at least, according to Mohammed…
He told us:
“I had a great experience. The team was very friendly and welcoming – and it didn’t feel like work whatsoever!
“Charlie from Models Direct was extremely helpful and a great support from the very beginning.
“I highly recommend them to anyone thinking of going into modelling.”
