Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies or Coco Pops – which is your favourite?
Some of our magnificent models got to try a selection when they took part in an assignment at Morrisons in Skipton for us.
Their job was to pose for the cameras and help the leading UK supermarket promote its breakfast club campaign last summer.
The promotion saw Morrisons join Kellogg’s in dishing up some tasty freebies to families who might be struggling to feed their little ones during the holidays.
Adults and children alike were able to enjoy a bowl of Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies or Coco Pops before 11am, with a choice of dairy and non-dairy milk, in any one of Morrisons 397 cafés.
As part of the initiative, they could also pick a free portion of fruit.
The campaign was launched after new research commissioned by Kellogg’s found that almost half (45%) of parents were worried about the cost of feeding their child during the summer break.
A third of parents (33%) also claimed that finding the extra budget to feed their child had become as difficult as funding their children’s activities during the summer holidays.
Almost a fifth (18%) said that if their child was to receive a free breakfast, they would use the money saved to pay for utility bills as this was one of their next biggest money concerns.
Models Direct was approached for a selection of male, female and child models for the photo shoot and, as usual, we sent along a selection of people who matched the client’s precise requirements.
And little Jacob, his mum, Ratchadaphon, and our models Ajit and Ricky were chosen by the client to take part in the assignment.
So did they all find the experience as sweet and tasty as expected?
Ratchadaphon told us afterwards:
“It was a great first photo shoot.
“The photographer was very good and made my child feel at ease as it was his first time.
“We were given very clear instructions on what to do the whole way through.
“Overall, my child found his first experience very enjoyable and he can’t wait for any further booking in the future.”
And Arjit agreed. She said:
“Everyone was friendly and great to be around.
“It was very efficient, quick and user-friendly for those starting out for the first time.
“Thanks to everyone.
“It would be wonderful to work with you all again.”
Ricky, who has worked with us before, gave us this feedback:
“I had a photoshoot for Morrison and it was a great experience, with a great team.
“I have had several jobs with Models Direct they have never disappointed me.
“They really know how to take care of their models.
“I can confirm Model Direct is one of the best agencies.”
Thank you Ricky, Arjit, Ratchadaphon and, of course, Jacob!
We are glad you had fun and it was for such a worthwhile promotion.
