Our experienced male model Stephen recently grabbed his tool belt and set off to York for a three-day commercial shoot. Stereotypes aside – does this sound like the perfect assignment for a male model? We can’t be sure, but what we do know is that Stephen revelled in his modelling role over the three days.
Our client was Sumec UK, who requested a commercial male model for their Yorkshire shoot. The company is a leading player in the export / import trade, and is a subsidiary of Sumec Group, which covers trade and technology commodity, import of electromagnetic equipment, garden power machinery, power generating equipment, textiles and bulk commodity trade. We love assisting all kinds of models in assignments across the globe, but it’s always terrific to have such prestigious clients on our books – and as the top UK commercial modelling agency, they came to us!
Although Stephen is a seasoned model with plenty of Models Direct work under his (tool) belt, new work is always exciting and our illustrious model couldn’t wait to get to York. Stephen’s dedication, talent and enthusiasm has clearly paid dividends, so hard work really does pay off.
We’re always excited to hear from new models (after all, experience is something that’s not required for a lot of our assignments), and we’re equally thrilled when we give our models repeat work. Stephen fits the bill of a gifted model who knows our client’s briefs and always delivers top-notch commercial modelling work.
As he said after his three-day excursion; “Charlie booked me in for a three-day shoot with a power tool brand. I absolutely loved all three days, shooting in the grounds of a very lovely and large bed and breakfast. It was a great team to shoot with and I got to shoot with a barbecue – which was the basis for some of my meals! I’m really grateful for the work, so thanks to Charlie and the whole team at Models Direct.”
It’s fantastic to hear feedback from experienced models who don’t rest on their laurels and take each booking as seriously as the next. That’s not to say models shouldn’t have a great time representing us…enjoyment is one of the many perks about commercial modelling work, after all. However, when commitment combines with pleasure, it has all the makings of a perfect modelling assignment. And we look forward to promoting hundreds more models this year alone.
Stephen’s assignment took place in the middle of the British summer, safe in the knowledge that he would be well looked after and that he could always contact us mid-assignment if there was anything he needed to discuss. It’s this agency / model relationship that continues to be a decisive factor when it comes to repeat bookings. We’re always happy to put Stephen forward to commercial assignments, and our illustrious model is likewise always happy to launch into each assignment with the same passion. Do we like our work? No – we love it!
