It’s always pleasing to put models forward for jobs which raise awareness and can help save lives. TyreSafe is a perfect example of an organisation needing conscientious models to get an important message across to all of the UK’s motorists.
This commercial modelling assignment required two families to pose for stills and participate in filming in a studio for family holiday scenes as laid out by TyreSafe’s brief. It was a great opportunity for the families to get stuck into their modelling work whilst conforming to all safety checks. Both families had adhered to social bubbles, and it proves that, whilst we still must have a reserved approach to the pandemic, the modelling world hasn’t ground to a halt. In fact, our models have prospered during these strange times, as they should.
Our lucky families were the Agyemang family and Yasmeen and her parents Anne and Colin. The latter two females have had previous modelling experience, so this was very much a case of a successful assignment consisting of new and accomplished models coming together for a triumphant job. It was a winning formula for all concerned, and as the Agyemang family stated post-assignment, it proved an experience worthy of being repeated!
“Our family shoot was brilliant,” beamed the family. “We had such a good time and the people we worked with were very friendly and professional. Thank you Models Direct for the opportunity and the way we were looked after. We hope to be selected again for more work, and we were so glad to find this beautiful agency.”

Any successful modelling assignment is worth hearing about, but when it goes a long way to protecting people it can add a little more purpose for our models. TyreSafe’s assignment took place in Colchester in Essex – the home of their HQ. The organisation is the UK’s charity that aims to reduce the number of tyre-related incidents on the UK’s roads through increasing awareness of tyre maintenance and highlighting the dangers of illegal and defective tyres.
According to the Department for Transport, there were just over 38.6 million vehicles registered on our roads in the first quarter in 2021 – an increase of 11 million vehicles since 1994. As this includes cars, lorries, motorcycles and buses & coaches, just imagine how many tyres are pounding our roads every minute! We were proud to help the charity in their quest to preserving tyre safety and reducing injury caused by faulty tyres. Surely earning money as models for a good cause is one of the best assignments a family can have?
This was the sentiment of Anne and Colin, who were eager to share their feedback with us. “How nice it was to go out together! It was a great experience – the photographers and client were both great which made the day’s shoot most enjoyable. We look forward to the next assignment.”
Their daughter Yasmeen added, “It was an enjoyable experience and the crew were lovely!”
Family modelling can be a unique experience, and with more and more clients requiring families, now is the best time to put your collective thoughts together and make your modelling dreams come true – as a family.
