Backstage passes – you bet! As the title suggests, we’re taking you on a mini tour behind the scenes of our modelling world with the help of our models.
One of our agency’s favourite moments in the office each day is when we receive behind the scenes images and videos directly from our models. We absolutely love seeing footage of our talent out on shoots where it’s all happening because it gives us all a real essence of what the job looks, and sounds like from their perspective.
A way to increase positive self-promotion
Our team hands the reigns over to them as we know that snapping and filming about their modelling bubble is a great way to deep dive into self-promotion, so we strongly encourage our models to do so and as often as possible. They unlock what happens behind the camera because this side of the lens is rarely seen.
Time is precious, experience is paramount, and exposure is essential for progress, so we let our talent get on with carrying out this new way of sharing assignment information as they wish. We used to rely on written feedback but we’ve upleveled this as communication is evolving and people want content faster.
A bonus with this feature is that MD can often repost imagery and filming, real-time modelling work, straight onto our socials. This really helps our audience, be it newbies or grounded models, to see what’s happening on the ground with our models’ assignments.

For newbies out there
Many of you will ask, what is it like being a model? Is it a very cutthroat industry? How do models cope with the constant pressure to look perfect? What do models eat (or not eat) to achieve that size 0 look? Is it a healthy environment for young people to be in?
