Children from 2 – 12 can enjoy a part-time career in modelling alongside all the many other things they do with their time with our agency’s expertise and support.
If you’re a parent or guardian wondering what kind of modelling work Models Direct has for child models then the answer you’ll get is a variety of different types of work. It’s as simple as that!
Here’s a rundown of what our child models can expect to be booked for:
Family Photoshoots
Our child models have teamed up with their families to create family photoshoots.
The Friend family were booked with Pennon Group with their child models. Here’s their feedback about their assignment:
“We were excited and a little nervous about this shoot. We knew it was a 2-day family shoot with all the family including our eldest daughter Olivia…We are so lucky our children seem to be taken too easily. We arrived at the lodge which was the location for day one it was set in the most beautiful countryside, and we were working with a photographer Nick, his assistant Cody and Tanya Reed, head of corporate communications for Pennon Group. Tanya and Nick knew exactly what they were after which is always great when we have a firm direction.
Trying to get that perfect shot will always take time but once again the children did amazing, even getting complimented by Nick and Tanya. The day went by very quickly with children getting time out for snacks, lunch and a little bit of fun on the ipads. The second day was a completely different day we were all super excited as we were going to a reservoir to do cannoning and boating something we hadn’t done before, that’s why this job is always so good your learning and trying new things all the time. We had a quick briefing and safety talk and it was go go go. I just kept hearing the girls laughing and having a blast it always brings us so much joy to see the children having fun and trying new experiences and we get paid for it!! Nick said he got some amazing pictures and it was a wrap. This was a fantastic shoot with lots of amazing memories.”
Other companies such as Microsoft, the RSPCA and Santander have booked our family models including their young children for photoshoots. We’ve had interesting projects such as a parent and child modelling duo being required for a health and fitness shoot.
Individual Photoshoots
Our youngsters have enjoyed individual photoshoots with top clients such as Bluewater Shopping Centre. Our female child model, Madison had a lovely time on set. Here’s a quick snippet of how she got on:
“Madison has had an amazing time doing the photo shoot today at Bluewater’s shopping centre having photos done with Santa by the thanksgiving tree. All the children looked amazing in their Christmas jumps supplied by the clients. Would like to thank Models Direct for all the communication and making this a fun experience for Madison looking forward to next week.”
Other individual photoshoots have been posted on our jobs board, which is our designated page for company requests allowing models to apply directly themselves. Here are some examples:

Campaign Shoots
Our young models are also called for campaign shoots to help advertise products and services.
We’ve worked with Morrisons on several campaign shoots which have included our younger gen. Check out our collab with the supermarket chain, their partner company for the shoot – Kellogg’s – and our family models, the House family.
