At Oak Barn Photography our model portfolio packages let you experience what its like to be a fashion or commercial model for a day and gives you high quality model portfolio images that could open doors for you as a model or take your existing model career to the next level.
The photo shoot is carried out by our experienced photographer Gary at our studio in central Taunton. Gary takes a great deal of care to establish a professional working relationship where you are comfortable and relaxed. He will coach you and give you advice on poses and expressions during the photo session in order to help create your ideal portfolio to support your modelling career or to simply keep yourself and treasure. We give direction throughout the session so that you are never left 'hanging' for the next pose, but will also encourage you to add your own poses to make your session unique to you.
For a professional model portfolio you will need a variety of different looks. At Oak Barn Photography we will give you advice on styling before the session, and if you need it, tips on modelling techniques and learning resources. You should bring a good variety of your own style clothes that you would like to shoot in, from casual to edgy. Our experienced professional photographer will also give you possible career and styling guidance on the day - he knows how to get the best out of you and by the end of the shoot you will feel like a PRO.
After the session we put a password protected gallery online of a selection, usually 100 or so, of photographs taken during the shoot from which you choose your favourites to be photoshoped and prepared for your portfolio as digital images, prints or both.
These shoots are really fun and many of our clients return for more sessions in order to build up an impressive modelling portfolio.
