People sometimes forget about fitting modelling as an option, but Columbia Sportswear Company often comes to Models Direct to find models for this purpose. Thirty-four year old Stuart was one of the models who recently took part in a number of these assignments.

Columbia Sportswear Company returned to Models Direct when they needed models to show their new range of ski and snowboarding wear to potential clients. The models were asked to wear the company's clothing for prospective buyers who wanted to view the items on people rather than coat hangers.

Fitting modelling involves modelling new clothes, often in the manufacturer's showroom, for designers, clothes makers or buyers so that they can assess what works and what doesn't with a particular outfit.

All of the models that have taken part in these assignments have had high praise for Columbia Sportswear and their clients. "When I got there, the company representative was pleasant and informative," enthuses Stuart. "The staff made me feel relaxed and I felt comfortable in the ski and snowboarding attire. I must admit I did not want to take it off!"

What's more, this assignment also kick-started Stuart's modelling career! "I was particularly nervous in preparation for my first assignment," he admits.
